Dear Monsignors and Fathers:


On behalf of the Board of Directors of NAM, I send greetings from the NAM Office and hope that you are well.

As you know, this is the time of year for NAM's Silver Massabki Award nominations and enclosed is the nomination form to be used. This is an opportunity to recognize a NAM member (individual or married couple) of your parish for their exceptional service to the Maronite Church. Please review the details and requirements on the nomination form. If you require a listing of the members who are eligible for nominations, please feel free to contact the office via phone or e-mail.

Although there is no real dead line for the application as the award can be given at any time during the next up-coming year, but please allow 4 weeks to receive all signatures and mail you the certificates and pins. If you need them for St. Maron Day celebration, please make sure to send the applications no later then Jan 10, 2011.

In addition, NAM also sponsors the Faith of the Mountain Award for young adults aged 18-25 who are individual members of NAM or who have just turned 18 and have been a member through a family membership of their parents. If they just graduated from High School, they are qualified for free membership, so if you do not see their names listed please forward their information and I will enter them as members. Also if you have a list of the 2009 High School graduates, it will be our pleasure to send them free one year membership.
